The overall purpose is to help you become aware of the actions you can take on a daily basis to improve the environment we all live in. While performing the Tasks, one by one, you will become more eco-friendly just like that. You can also “spread the word” and give the link to your friends and start together a bigger change.

No, you can choose where to start and you can work on the Tasks from several Missions at the same time.

No, you can choose them on an ad hoc basis but notice that some of them are interconnected or sometimes easier Tasks help you to prepare for the more difficult ones.

It is up to you, really. To get to the Special Mission, you need to perform all the Tasks in other Missions but you can stop or take a break at any time. You will be stopped from marking all task as done in one day - but who would like to cheat on himself or herself anyway?!

This is a web app, so we won't send you push notifications, but we have a simple solution to your problem: set yourself reminders in your smartphone timer or calendar. That way you will be reminded and stay in the game.

Yes, there are a few quests that you need to complete several times in a row to complete them. These Tasks are marked with progress dots on the scoring.

The entire Gamification includes a total of 100 Tasks. The Gamification consists of five Missions that concern our behavior in everyday life: 1) in public space: Mission "Public space - individual responsibility”, (4 challenges, 14 tasks); 2) at home: Mission "Your home - your decision", (5 challenges, 28 tasks); 3) when we buy and consume goods: Mission "Getting and using consumer goods” (4 challenges, 18 tasks); 4) at work: Mission " Behaviour at work”, (4 challenges, 17 tasks); 5) when we move: Mission "On the green way” (4 challenges, 23 tasks).

You will be able to access this Mission after having completed all other Missions.

The GoBeEco webapp was created as part of the Erasmus project GoBeEco - Gamification of eco-friendly habits in adult education. The project team from Poland, Portugal and Germany developed the webapp together in 2022/2023.
